Lip filler is £175 for 0.5ml and £240 for 1ml. Your exact price is confirmed at your consultation, before any treatment goes ahead, and new clients receive 10% off their first treatment.

Results typically last 6–12 months. How long they last depends on the product used, your metabolism and lifestyle, and how much filler is placed. Many clients choose a top-up to maintain their results.

Yes, when they’re done with a conservative approach. Teresa focuses on balance and proportion, enhancing your natural lip shape rather than changing it, and volume can be built gradually over more than one appointment.

Most clients describe it as mildly uncomfortable rather than painful. A topical numbing cream can be applied beforehand, and most lip fillers contain a local anaesthetic to keep you comfortable during treatment.

Swelling, tenderness and some bruising are common for a few days after treatment and usually settle within a week. Less common risks are discussed in full at your consultation, along with your aftercare plan.

Lip fillers in Lymm

More about lip fillers.

Lip fillers are one of the most popular aesthetic treatments in the UK, and for good reason. Whether you’re looking for a subtle enhancement or a more noticeable change, modern fillers can create beautiful, natural-looking results when carried out by an experienced practitioner.

At Simply Aesthetics Cheshire, we take a personalised approach to lip enhancement, focusing on balance, proportion and results that suit you. Using premium hyaluronic acid fillers, we can add volume, improve shape, define the lip border and enhance overall lip harmony. Each treatment is tailored to your individual facial features, ensuring a natural and refreshed look.

What are lip fillers?

Lip fillers, sometimes called lip augmentation or lip enhancement, are injectable treatments that add shape, structure and volume to the lips. Most modern lip fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, a substance found naturally in the body that attracts and holds moisture. Alongside adding volume, this is why treatment can leave lips looking softer, smoother and more hydrated.

What can lip fillers help with?

Lip filler treatment in Lymm can be tailored to a wide range of goals. Some clients want a subtle boost in fullness, while others want to define the lip border (the vermilion border), improve symmetry between the upper and lower lip, restore volume lost with age, or soften fine lines around the mouth. Because every face is different, the amount of filler and where it’s placed is planned around your natural proportions.

Natural-looking lip enhancement

Our approach to lip enhancement is to enhance, not change. Teresa favours a conservative technique, often starting with 0.5ml for first-time clients, so you can see how your lips respond and build volume gradually if you’d like more. The aim is lips that look like a refreshed version of your own, balanced with the rest of your face.

Your consultation

Every lip filler treatment starts with a consultation with Teresa, a Registered Nurse Prescriber. She’ll talk through your goals, look at your facial proportions and medical history, and explain what can realistically be achieved and what it will cost. If lip filler isn’t the right choice for you, she’ll tell you, and may suggest an alternative such as a lip flip.

What happens on the day

Treatment takes around 30–45 minutes. A numbing cream can be applied beforehand, and most lip fillers also contain a local anaesthetic to keep you comfortable. The filler is placed using a fine needle or cannula, and your lips are gently shaped and checked for symmetry before you leave.

Aftercare

For beautiful results, please follow the aftercare advice below.

First 24 hours

  • Do not touch, rub or massage the treated areas unnecessarily.
  • Avoid make-up over the injection sites for 12–24 hours where possible.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours. Gentle everyday activity is fine.
  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours, as this may increase the likelihood of bruising.
  • Avoid excessive heat, including saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, very hot showers and sunbathing, for 24–48 hours.
  • Avoid sunbeds/tanning following treatment. Published aftercare guidance specifically advises avoiding tanning and heat exposure during the immediate post-treatment period.
  • Avoid applying significant pressure to the treated area, including tight headwear where relevant.
  • Treat your skin gently when cleansing and avoid aggressive rubbing.

What to expect

Small areas of redness, mild swelling, tenderness or pinpoint bruising can occur following treatment and are usually temporary.

Results develop gradually rather than immediately. One UK aftercare guide advises that effects commonly begin within 3–5 days, with the fuller effect developing at around 10–14 days.

Your review

If a review has been arranged, this is commonly undertaken at around two weeks, when the treatment result can be appropriately assessed.

If you experience anything unexpected or have concerns following treatment, please contact the clinic for advice.
